The Ospreys continue its weekend with the second day of competition at the ASUN Outdoor Championships on Friday, May 10, in Conway, Ark.
"It was a good start to the ASUN Championships. Jacob [Hippo] and Tariq [LaJoie] have been consistent in their efforts since September and it was a very strong 3-4 finish. The 10k guys were strong with three guys in scoring positions. Seth [Martinez] has worked hard and been fully committed to this level of performance for quite some time. It's so sweet to see his work lead to a ASUN Championship, so I'm so proud of him. Kameron [Wallizada] and Paul [Lespasio] continue to improve and did a great job tonight finishing top eight. Hannah [Martin] has done such a nice job in her senior year. Her run tonight in the 10k was a big PR and it is nice to see her work build confidence and lead her to strong ASUN races. In the 400m hurdles, we ran very well. Rey [Hernandez] ran a very smooth race to win his heat, Celine [D'Anna] also looked very good to continue her great season and Serenity [Miller] dug deep to get the final qualifying spot. What a nice effort by our teams tonight here in Conway!"
