Shutout Performance in First Game, Walked Off Second Game in 10th Inning
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (16-8) pulled out two terrific wins in their final non-conference games before ASUN play in an extended doubleheader night against Bucknell (9-15) on Wednesday evening at UNF Softball Complex.
The Ospreys started with a 5-0 shutout performance, courtesy of a complete-game showing with 10 strikeouts from Kylah Berry for her first win of the season. UNF moved on to the second game, where they were stuck at a 1-1 score until Shannon Glover broke through with a walk-off RBI triple in the 10th inning to sweep the Bison.
Madisyn Federico, Allison Benning and Chloe Culp each had early home runs in the first of two games to give the Ospreys three home runs in a game for the first time since 2022 against Stetson. Berry spun 123 pitches with no runs and four hits allowed in the 5-0 win.
