MACON, Ga. - North Florida men's tennis continued its strong weekend showing to start its fall season at the Mercer Gridiron Classic hosted by Mercer on Saturday afternoon.

The Ospreys picked up a quartet of singles victories led by Benjamin Scott with two on the day, followed with Chase Healey moving on in straight sets and Lorenzo Messina advancing due to withdraw.

In doubles, the pairing of Jean Deloziere and Bruno Vietri, as well as Spencer Dorosheff and Scott, had 6-4 wins to their names against opponents from Jacksonville State and GCSU.

North Florida finishes off its weekend of tournament-style play in the Mercer Gridiron Classic on Sunday, Oct. 6, in Macon, Ga.
