Women’s Tennis Set to Host UNF Fall Invite

Ospreys Finish Fall Season at UNF Tennis Complex from Nov. 1-3
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis returns home to the UNF Tennis Complex for the first time this fall, as they host the UNF Fall Invite this week from Nov. 1-3. This will mark the fourth-straight fall season that UNF has hosted this event, while bringing in top schools to compete.
Returning five teams that competed in this UNF Fall Invite last season, the Ospreys will see competition from Florida State, Charlotte, Furman, Indiana, Southern Miss, USF, Virginia Tech, UCF and Florida.
The Ospreys secured a victory in the qualifying singles during the ITA Southeast Regionals from Anslee Long and Nicole Alfaro Solis. UNF also notched a doubles win from Alise Lyshko and Isabel Oliveria at the Bedford Cup during the previous weekend.
The tournament schedule is slated for two doubles and one singles match for each individual on Friday, Nov. 1. The event will continue on Saturday, Nov. 2, featuring one doubles and one singles match, followed on Sunday, Nov. 3, with one singles match for finish out the fall season.

- Compass draws of eight -> Three rounds of singles and doubles per player
- Doubles - One eight-game pro-set, no-ad scoring, tiebreak at 7-7
- Singles - Regular two out of three tie-break sets, no-ad scoring
