Allendesalazar Joins For Pair of Ospreys in Top 11 Overall

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - North Florida women's golf was led by Kaitlynn Schroeder with a top-five standing over even-par through the first two rounds at the Hurricane Invitational hosted by Miami on Monday afternoon.

The Ospreys had major performances from Schroeder, who carded nine birdies over her pair of rounds, along with Casilda Allendesalazar scoring 2-over 146 with an eagle on the final hole of play. The duo helped put UNF in eighth-place as a team heading into the final round of the fall season.

Schroeder finished her day with 10 pars and four birdies over her last 14 holes to be among the top five players at even-par 144.
She has the lead in the field for birdies with nine total and is top-six mark in par-five scoring average at 3-under.
Casilda Allendesalazar finished her day with a 18th-hole eagle to jump into the top 11 at 2-over 146.
The senior leads the tournament in par-five scoring average with a 5-under mark, while also having the team lead for pars with 24 total.
Helen Zhou put together a solid day to be among the top 40 overall at 7-over 151.
Schroeder and Zhou have a 1-over average on par-three holes, as they both sit top 10 in the field.
Kaitlynn Washburn and Braydn Smith each finished out their 36-holes performances with a birdie on the 18th hole in both rounds.
Four of the five Osprey golfers finished the pair of rounds with at least five birdies each.
UNF leads the entire field of 11 teams in birdies with 28 total through 36 holes.
The team also has a top-four ranking in par-five average score at 5-under.
