TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming went up against Florida State and West Florida in its first road meet of the season at the All Florida Invitational on Friday afternoon.
Despite tallying nine top-five finishes on the day, including
Kayla Daley earning third-place in both butterfly races, the Ospreys came up short in the tri-meet.
Florida Southern was originally supposed to take part in the meet, but due to the impacts of Hurricane Milton, were unable to travel.

CLIPBOARD NOTES
- The group of Katie Carlos, Victoria Torres, Kayla Daley and Marcia Shaw swam to a fourth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:47.49
- Paige Munna secured a top-five finish in the 1000-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 11:11.90
- Torres earned second-place in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:05.42
- Daley secured two third-place finishes in both the 100- and 200-yard butterfly with times of 57.68 and 2:09.44, respectively
- Carlos recorded a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 2:11.50
- The group of Torres, Shaw, Amelia Hildebrand and Ashley Kephart finished fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a combined time of 1:38.32
- The Ospreys garnered nine top-five finishes on the day
