PIGG'S POINTS
"We had a very good opener. We competed hard and a lot of people had personal bests, which is a great place to start the year. Camden [Springer] ran a school record placing third in the 200m. He is a great addition to our team and it's nice to see his efforts pay off with a new record. Our top eight runners ran lifetime bests in the 3000m. William [Sinclair] came in great shape and led the way for us. It's great to see him running up front. Erica [Fisher] placed second in the 3000m. She ran a very smart race, as she closed strong to finish with a huge personal best time. It's nice to see her continue to improve and compete so well. Nicole [Shepherd] placed third in her first collegiate meet with a very nice jump of 1.70m. Men's high jumpers opened very well with Jacob [Hippo] and Tariq [LaJoie] having strong openers placing second and fourth."
