Robbie Higgins Goes 9-Under 133 Through Two Rounds
NORTHFIELD, Ill. - North Florida men's golf worked its way up the leaderboard through both rounds to start the Windon Memorial Classic hosted by Northwestern at 16-under as a team for seventh overall on Monday afternoon.
Robbie Higgins took over for the Ospreys through two rounds with back-to-back scores in the 60s to place just one spot from the top score at 9-under 133 tied for third. The two-time First Team All-ASUN selection has put himself in prime position to repeat as the individual medalist crown winner at Northwestern's home tournament during Tuesday's final round.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Higgins combined for 12 birdies on the day, including eight during the second round, and only had three holes that were scored at worse than par.
- The senior finished with a top-three mark in total birdies (12), a top-six par-four average score (4-under) and a top-six par-five average score (5-under).
- Gabrelcik picked up the pace in the second round at 6-under 65 to be tied for 36th through a pair of rounds.
- He had six total birdies in the later round, while scoring 12 pars on all other holes.
- Lee leads the entire tournament in pars with 28 total, as he matched Gabrelcik with a share of 36th overall.
- He started his second round of well with three birdies on the first four holes and only two holes worse than par.
- Both Gabrelcik and Lee had an average score of 1-under on par-three holes, which is top five among all players.
- Riley carded his first score in the 60s with the Ospreys in the opening round to combine for 1-over 143 and sharing a spot just outside the top 50.
- He joins Lee a top-five mark in pars with 26 total through the first two rounds of play.
- Carroll rounded out the group through their first 36-hole day of the season to finish tied for 71st at 3-over 145.
- He was also the lone Osprey to record an eagle, as well as only one of 14 players to have one on Monday.
- The Ospreys had four different players record a round in the 60s, including Higgins' back-to-back rounds.
- UNF found its strength in par-five average score at 16-under par, which ranks third in the field.
- They also were third in pars with 120 total, while being one of nine teams to record an eagle.
