
Franks, Doyle Go for Lifetime Bests in American Track League Event

Duo Goes Six and Seven in 1500m
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fresh off the conclusion of their 2023 seasons that included an appearance in the NCAA East First Round Championships in late May, UNF men's track and field's Mac Franks and Tim Doyle impressed in their pro debuts yesterday in Nashville.Â
The Osprey duo competed in the American Track League's Music City Carnival Event hosted in Nashville last night, finishing sixth and seventh in the 1500m against an international field.Â
Doyle represented Puerto Rico in the race, crossing the line with a lifetime best mark at 3:40.39 for sixth place. Franks was on Doyle's heels, going for a time of 3:40.47, good for seventh and also another lifetime best. Franks donned his North Florida top and the ASUN bandana as they competed on the Peacock broadcasted event.
