Hendricksen Signs With Czarni in Poland

SLUPSK, Poland - After putting together one of the best careers in North Florida men's basketball history, Carter Hendricksen inks his first professional contract after signing to play with Czarni Slupsk in Poland as announced Friday, June 30.

Hendricksen joins former Osprey great Beau Beech as the second UNF men's basketball alum to play for the organization. He is also one of eight active former Ospreys in the professional ranks.
Czarni Slupsk plays in the Polish Basketball League and is based in Slupsk, Poland's Hala Gryfia Arena.

In five seasons at UNF, Hendricksen put up 1,651 points, 742 rebounds, 227 assists, 41 blocks, 70 steals and 3,699 minutes. He finished his career in UNF's top ten for 13 different statistical categories, while concluding his time tied for first in games played with 135.

He is one of five former Ospreys to reach 1,500-career points and just one of four to reach 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 assists.

The Lexington, Ky., native helped UNF to the 2019-20 ASUN Regular Season Championship and was a four-time All-ASUN honoree and 2020-21 ASUN Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Three times he was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team and twice he was named ASUN Player of the Week.
