Men's Basketball Signs Ayuba Bryant Jr.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Basketball Head Coach Bobby Kennen announced the signing of Ayuba Bryant Jr., a 6-9 forward from Temple, on Wednesday.
Bryant Jr. appeared in 27 games with two starts for Temple in 2025-26. He averaged 1.8 points and 1.6 rebounds on 58.6 percent from the field in 8.1 minutes per game last season.
Bryant Jr. played for JL Bourgen-Bresse in France's LNB Pro-A under-21 league. He averaged 13.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game in 28 games.
Internationally, Bryant Jr. has represented Belguim at both the 2024 FIBA U20 EuroBasket and 2021 FIBA U16 European Challengers.
At the 2024 U20 European Championships, the Antwerp, Belgium native averaged 13.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists on 52.5 percent from the field in seven games. He led Belgium in scored in four of the seven games, which included 20 points in the Semifinal against Slovenia.
Bryant Jr. joins transfers Eddie Placer (Wagner, Orlando, Fla.), Elijah Elliott (Ohio, Orlando, Fla.) and Hedrens "Jr" Bartelus (Chipola College, Lake Worth, Fla.), and a high school class of Isaiah Brown (Stranahan High School, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Christopher Perry (Bradwell Institute, Hinesville, Ga.) and Asa Kohn (Hagerty High School, Oviedo, Fla.).
