Softball Plays to Tie in Series Finale at UNA

First Recorded Tie In Ospreys' D-I History, Game Halted Due to Travel Curfew

FLORENCE, Ala. - Due to time constraints stemming from the travel curfew set for the series finale, North Florida softball (21-19-1, 4-10-1 ASUN) tied against North Alabama (24-11-1, 6-8-1 ASUN), 7-7, through 10 innings played on Sunday afternoon.

After trailing by one run in the top of the seventh inning, the Ospreys tied the game with an RBI double from Shannon Glover. Each team tallied a run in the eighth and in the final inning of the game, each team notched a three-run frame during international tiebreaker rules.

Four different players had multiple hits in the game, including Savannah Channell with three hits and three RBI. It was the third three-hit performance, as well as the third three-RBI day, of her Osprey career.
