OUTDOOR Track & Field: Doyle Headlines 800m Inside Top 15

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A trio of Ospreys hit the track on the second day of the Pepsi Florida Relays on Saturday afternoon. Timothy Doyle notched the top Osprey record for a consecutive track meet, as the senior earned a top-five placement in the third heat of the men's 800m run.
FINISH LINE
- Doyle earned a top-15 placement in the men's 800m at 1:50.18.
- The Orlando, Fla., native outranked runners from Florida, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers, Iowa, Pittsburg, Florida State, USC and Miami.
- Ladarius Tellis ran hard in 36th overall for the men's 800m.
- Tellis earned a sixth-place finish in the fifth heat for the Ospreys.
- Ryan Douihech also finished the 800m in top 45.
- Douihech fought to the end and ranked eighth in the fifth heat.
