
Women's Golf Takes Share of Third at Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate Presented by Gravity Plus

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf played well to round out its home tournament week after scoring 10-over 874 to place with a share of third among 17 teams at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate presented by Gravity Plus on Tuesday afternoon.
The Ospreys rose up to third with a final round score of 4-over 292 after finishing eighth after round one and fourth after round two. They also finished the meet with a player inside the top 10 and two players among the top 25 on the player's leaderboard.
Jessie Cai had the most impressive performance of her career with a career-best 54-hole score at 2-under 214 in her home meet. After placing tied for 11th in last year's UNF Collegiate, she takes a share of seventh with a final round score of 3-under 69 with four birdies and 13 pars.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Cai earned her fourth round under par and first tournament under par this season after her 3-under 69 in the final round.
- It was also her first top-10 finish of the season and the first round in the 60s since the final round of the Evie Odom Invitational this past fall.
- The Hamburg, Germany, native tied for the most pars in the field at 42 total and finished in the top five for par-four average (1-under).
- Christin Eisenbeiss just made it inside the top 25 for the sixth time this season with a final round score of 1-under 71.
