Behind the Line Score
- It was a pitcher's duel through the first three frames as the game saw just two hits up to that point.
- Stetson drew first blood in the fourth as Cam Hill walked and scored on a David Bermudez double to right center.
- UNF did some damage in the fifth as the wheels came off the tracks for Stetson. North Florida scored four on four hits and a walk, including a two-RBI single from Matthew Clements and chopper two-RBI double from Aidan Sweatt down the left field line.
- The Hatters got back at UNF with a five-run sixth that featured a two-run home run from Bermudez and the second three-run home run in less than 24 hours for Daniel Labrador.
- Stetson added an insurance run on a wild play in the top of the ninth, giving the Hatters a 7-5 lead. A two-out walk was followed by a single to left center. Hill singled to short as Alex Lodise attempted to get the force out at second but was unable on a ball hit up the middle. Lorenzo Meola, going on the play, scored from second by sliding just under the tag.
- The latest edition of the UNF dramatics started in the ninth. Dallen Leach started the inning with a single to center as Hill trapped the liner on a hop. Lodise worked a deep count and eventually walked. Drew Leinenbach put down a bunt to Stetson's Yohann Dessureault, although nobody was there to cover first base.
- With the bags juiced, Stetson got a punchout but Sweatt followed with a two-RBI single on a 1-1 pitch. Brinling laced the game-winning single just two pitches later, scoring Leinenbach.
