CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - North Florida women's basketball (6-16, 3-9 ASUN) was not able to generate enough on offense to keep up with Austin Peay (15-7, 10-2 ASUN), as the Ospreys dropped their first of two road games in Tennessee, 77-35, on Thursday evening.
The Ospreys had two scores to start the game against APSU, courtesy of
Brianna Livingston, but fell behind in the first half when the Governors ripped off two separate scoring runs that put them down early. UNF gained some traction in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome the steep deficit on the road.
Lyric Swann was the leading scorer against the Governors with 11 points, while
Emma Broermann was right behind her with 10 points on the night. Livingston joined the duo with eight points as well, as the three combined for 29 of the 35 points scored by the Ospreys.

COACH'S THOUGHTS
"Another tough outing on both sides of the floor. We didn't get off to a great start and it was really hard to bounce back from that. We have to do a better job executing defensively and generating better scoring opportunities!"
