TEE SHEET: 2023 The Show

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf heads out west for the second year in a row to compete in The Show hosted by UNLV from Feb. 20-21 in Las Vegas, Nev.
The Ospreys will face another competitive field this upcoming week with 14 of the 15 teams being ranked in the top 100 of Golfstat's team rankings. After placing 16th at the UCF Challenge, UNF will look to return to place among the top five teams for the first time since Lady Paladin at Furman this past fall.

TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK

Back-to-back seasons that the Ospreys will be playing in The Show.
The Ospreys placed seventh out of 16 teams at UNLV in 2022.
Christin Eisenbeiss had the best Osprey score inside the top 25 with a score of 7-over 223.
Daniela Gonzalez was close behind at 8-over 224 tied for 28th overall.
Most western tournament that UNF will be playing in this season.
The field features 15 teams including three Power Five teams, as well as five teams inside the top 50 teams.
Mississippi State, Kent State and Old Dominion all played in the UCF Challenge with the Ospreys to open the spring.
UNF will be the only team representing the ASUN for a second consecutive tournament.
The lineup this week will include a graduate, three juniors, and a sophomore.
North Florida begins play on Monday, Feb. 20, and will complete the final round of play on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

FROM THE 19TH HOLE

Eisenbeiss was the top Osprey scorer at the UCF Challenge with a score of 1-over 217 that put her inside the top 50 individuals. She took home her fifth-career ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week after her stellar performance in Orlando, Fla.
Wyndom Burnett scored under par in the second round of the UCF meet at 2-under 70 to help her finish tied for 67th among a stacked field. The sophomore already has one weekly honor to her name this season and will look to do the same this week.
Gonzalez will continue her senior campaign in what will be her second consecutive year playing at UNLV's The Show. She will look to rebound on the west coast after shooting 9-over at UCF.
Jessie Cai had a rough start in the first round of the UCF Challenge, but bounced back with back-to-back rounds at 1-over 73. She will join Eisenbeiss and Gonzalez with consecutive seasons competing at Vegas in The Show.
Kaitlynn Washburn will make her spring debut after not playing at the UCF Challenge earlier this month. She played in all four events earlier in the fall with her best score being 2-over 74 in the final round of the Badger Invitational at Wisconsin.

The Ospreys come back to the First Coast to host their home tournament, the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate presented by Gravity Plus, from Mar. 6-7 at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
