Will Play 56 Total Games, Set For 44 Games in State of Florida
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball announces its complete 2024 slate for the upcoming season on Monday, Dec. 11. The schedule features 56 total games, which include 33 games at home and 44 games inside the state of Florida.
Â
UNF's 30-game ASUN schedule was released earlier this year, as North Florida plays five road conference series and five at home. The Ospreys will host Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, Stetson and FGCU, while traveling to Queens (N.C.), Bellarmine, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State and North Alabama.
Â
"We are very excited for the 2024 schedule and the challenges that it will present to our team," said head coach Joe Mercadante. "We will have the opportunity to play a lot of non-conference series at home early on, which is always a good thing. We also have some great midweek games against the in-state programs that will certainly prepare us for conference play and the challenges of a tough ASUN schedule. I can't wait to see our guys hit the field in February and see all the fans out here at Harmon Stadium!"Â
