PIGG'S POINTS
"Great start to the season. The facility is tremendous. It is such a boost to have a great opportunity closer to home. Mac Franks won the mile in a national-leading time. It is also the school record. He came back and led a strong 800 [meter] performance wire-to-wire. EJ [Schlageter] ran a strong race to win the women's mile. Freshman Ella [Chandler] won the 800m in her indoor debut. Both EJ and Ella ran patient and were very tactically."
