
Women's Golf Shares Seventh Through Two Rounds at NCAA Tallahassee Regional

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - No. 49 North Florida women's golf completes its second day at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional tied for seventh place at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.Â
Mindy Herrick impressed once again during the the second round of play with a score of 1-over 73, including a streak of birdies in four of five straight holes. She sits in 11th place on the leaderboard and has the second-best individual score from a current non-qualifying team, which would send her unattached to the NCAA Championship if she stays within the top two individuals.
The Ospreys are alongside No. 26 Illinois at 30-over 606, as they sit 11 strokes back from a top-four spot among the 12-team field. They also have the edge over two top-50 teams, including No. 22 Ole Miss and No. 46 Denver.
