CHARLESTON, S.C - The Citadel scored early and North Florida baseball was held off the scoreboard until the sixth inning as the Ospreys fell in midweek baseball at The Citadel, 8-1, Tuesday, March 29.
Both teams used seven pitchers in North Florida's first non-conference affair outside the Sunshine State. UNF (9-17) was held without a walk and the Ospreys fanned 10 Bulldog (17-7) batters as the game lasted just under two and a half hours.
Cade Westbrook extended his on-base streak to 13 games,
Caleb Stafford made his season debut and
Ian Brown started his first contest of the year.
