Cozad, Warren, Shaw and Kephart Notch 4x100 Free Relay Record in 3:28.22
LYNCHBURG, Va. - North Florida swimming went out with a bang on the final day of the CCSA Championships Saturday, Feb. 19, notching another program relay record while tallying four UNF top-10 times. The 4x100 relay team of Ashley Cozad, Taylor Warren, Marcia Shaw and Ashley Kephart touched the wall in 3:28.22, good for first in North Florida program history, snapping what was a ten-year old record.
The original 4x100 relay record was set by Rebecca Bernard, Caitlyn Guitierrez, Maria Bernard and Natalie McCallum back in the 2012-13 season. That group touched the wall in 3:28.52.
UNF set two program records on the weekend, doing so in a pair of relay events. The Ospreys also set the new school record with a time of 1:45.00 in the 200 medley relay on day one of the Championships.
