
Daley Doubles Up With Second ASUN Swimmer of the Week Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming's Kayla Daley doubled up her season count for ASUN Swimmer of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
Daley put up a phenomenal performance in both the All Florida Invite quad meet, as well as the dual meet against Georgia Southern. She combined for two individual top finishes, two relay wins and a runner-up spot across five total events over a span of two days.
"Kayla [Daley] really had an outstanding week," Head Coach Ian Coffey stated. "She held her own at the All Florida Invite with a top-10 program time in the 100 butterfly. Then, she finished the week with four strong first-place finishes in the meet against Georgia Southern. Kayla is really training hard every day and it's awesome to see her recognized for her efforts."
After punching in a top-10 program time for the butterfly at Florida State, she placed first in the 100 and 200 butterfly events in the home dual meet against the Eagles. She also impressed in both relay events with wins in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
Daley will once again lead the Ospreys into their final team meet of the fall slate with a trip up to the Gamecock Invite from Nov. 19-21 in Columbia, S.C.

ASUN Women's Swimmer of the Week

- Second-career ASUN weekly honor; second UNF award of the season; third overall honor to UNF.
 - Was lone Osprey to record a pair of individual wins and relay wins in dual meet against Georgia Southern.
 - Earned the top finish in the 100 butterfly at 56.14, along with first-place finish in the 200 butterfly at 2:05.57.
 - Was key contributor for victory in 200 medley relay at 1:45.68, as well as victory in 400 free relay at 3:32.33.
 - Was the only UNF swimmer to win on multiple relay teams in the meet for the 200 medley and 400 free.
 - Helped North Florida pick up two dual meet victories during the fall season since 2022.
 - Also earned the runner-up spot in the 100-yard butterfly at 55.15 during the All Florida Invite, facing Florida State, West Florida and Florida Southern.
