
Swimming Totals 11 Top Finishes On Senior Day In Dual Win Against Georgia Southern

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming dominated its dual meet with Georgia Southern for a 173.50-88.50 victory on Senior Day at UNF Competition Pool Complex.
The Ospreys totaled 11 first-place finishers in 14 total events, to go along with 27 times in the top-three for their respective events, during their home finale for the fall 2025 slate. It's the second dual win of the season for UNF and the third time this season placing as the top team at a meet.
Kayla Daley placed first overall in four events on the day with two individual wins in the 100 and 200 butterfly, as well as two relay wins in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle. Katie Carlos matched Daley's pair of individual wins with stellar times in the 100 and 200 backstroke events, followed with joining her for the relay victory as well in the 200 medley.

- Seven different UNF swimmers were tabbed first in individual events, including Grace Burton (1000 free), Katie Carlos (100 / 200 back), Ashley Kirby (100 breast), Kayla Daley (100 / 200 fly), Abby Noga (50 free), Victoria Torres (100 free) and Paige Munna (500 free).
- Two more relay wins came in for the Ospreys with Carlos, Kirby, Daley and Noga taking the 200 medley relay at 1:45.68, and Victoria Torres, Amelia Hildebrand, Daley and Brooke Bourn taking 400 free relay at 3:32.33.
- Daley was the only UNF swimmer to win on multiple relay teams in the meet for the 200 medley and 400 free.
- Kirby, Noga and Torres joined Daley and Carlos as Ospreys to place first in both an individual event and a relay event.
- It's the first time that North Florida has picked up two dual meet victories in the fall season since 2022.
