JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf will send members of its team out to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the The Show at Spanish Trail, while a couple of individuals will stay home to play in The First Coast Classic hosted jointly by Western Kentucky and UNF in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Show at Spanish Trail will feature a field of 16 teams that include 12 teams ranked in the top 100, including six teams in the top 65.

TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK
- North Florida will make their first appearance at The Show at Spanish Trail hosted by UNLV, while a couple of Osprey individuals will be competing in the First Coast Classic after the team won first in the tournament last season.
- This will be the first time the UNF team will be competing in a tournament west of the Mississippi since the 2019 Gonzaga Collegiate in Idaho.
- The Show will field a tournament that features 16 teams that include 12 teams in the top 100, as well as six teams in the top 65.
- The First Coast Classic will have three other ASUN opponents (EKU, FGCU and Stetson) for the Ospreys in individual play.
- Both tournaments will tee off Monday morning to play 36 holes with the final rounds wrapping up on Tuesday with 18 holes of play.
SCORECARD REPORT
- Mindy Herrick turned in a top-15 finish at the FAU Paradise Invitational with a score of 3-under 213, in which she recorded scores of par or better in all three rounds.
- Sara McKevitt finished just outside the top 20 with a score of 1-under 215 at FAU and will look to improve that season-opening score in Vegas.
- Daniela Gonzalez will look to duplicate the fast start she had in Boca Raton, as she scored 2-under 70 in the first round during the invite and finished with 2-over 218 overall.
- Christin Eisenbeiss, who leads the team in average score since the fall, and Jessie Cai will also make the trip over to UNLV to round out the Osprey team at The Show.
- Liss Davalos will be playing in her first event of the spring season at The First Coast Classic as an individual after playing three events in the fall, while Sarah Scott will be making her season debut as an individual as well.
FROM THE 19TH HOLE
- The Ospreys finished tied for fifth with a team score of 7-under 857 at the FAU Paradise Invitational in a field that featured 15 teams, in which eight squads were ranked in the top 100 after the fall season.
- Mindy Herrick was the top Osprey through three rounds at FAU and brought home a top-15 finish in Boca Raton with a score of 3-under 213, which matched her best collegiate 54-hole score.
- Herrick went on to win the ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week honor, which was her first weekly conference award since the 2018 season.
UP NEXT
North Florida will make the quick three-day turnaround to play in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hosted by Mercer in Greensboro, Ga., from Feb. 18-20.
