JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer (2-4-1) faced defeat in the first River City Ramble matchup of the year against Jacksonville (2-5-0) on Saturday night at Southern Oaks Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Ospreys had three early shots to open the first 15 minutes of the match, while also holding Jacksonville without any shot attempts.
In the 38th minute, Jacksonville was fouled inside the penalty box and Reed Davis put one in the net for JU to give them the lead.
Senior Jovoney Brown had good looks on two shot attempts in the second half, but both went over the crossbar.
Goalkeeper Padraic Gilley made multiple great saves to keep the game in hand for UNF, but they weren't able to capitalize off the good defensive performance.
