Men's Soccer Drops Finale At Stetson

DELAND, Fla. – North Florida Men's Soccer fell its regular season finale to Stetson, 4-1, at Athletic Training Center on Saturday.
With the result, North Florida moved to 11-5 and 4-2 in the ASUN. Despite the result, North Florida has already clinched the 2025 ASUN Graphite Division Championship and will host postseason matches in the 2025 ASUN Championship.
Redshirt junior goalkeeper Luciano Natoli stepped up with a pair of saves in the initial 20 minutes, which included a penalty-kick save in the 18th minute. He finished with five saves in 90 minutes.
Trailing 2-0, junior defender Paul Schacherer found the back of the net in the 36th minute on an assist by junior defender Brian McManus Jr. It marked the first goal scored by Schacherer at North Florida and the second assist of the season for McManus Jr.
Stetson added to the margin in the 64th and 76th minute.
North Florida will be back in action when it hosts the ASUN Championship Semifinals at Hodges Stadium on Monday, Nov. 10.
