Ospreys Advance to Play Jacksonville in the Semifinals
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A quick start, mid-game resilience and three round trippers combined for the winning recipe in UNF's 6-5 victory against Kennesaw State (29-21) in ASUN Championship Final Four action Thursday, May 27 from Harmon Stadium.
The Ospreys (22-21) advance to play Jacksonville in the next round tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Behind the Line Score
- Alex Kachler jumped on the first pitch he saw in the first for a two-run home run, scoring Abraham Sequera who walked one batter earlier.
- KSU loaded the bags with nobody out in the third, but Tony Roca spun consecutive strikeouts and Blake Marabell made a running grab in center to get out of the jam.
- Isaiah Byars launched a solo home run off the top of the batting facility in left for a 3-0 UNF lead in the fifth.
- KSU finally got on the board thanks to a two-run two-out double from Malik Spratling in the sixth. A bases loaded hit batter followed by a wild pitch allowed KSU to go up, 4-3.
- UNF was clutch with two outs to seize a 5-4 lead in the sixth. With two away, Cade Westbrook sprayed an RBI double down the left field line. Byars followed with the go-ahead double to left center.
- The Owls threatened, getting runners to second and third with two outs in the eighth. Brandon Reitz turned in a three-pitch strikeout to strand two Owls.Â
- Ricky Presno launched a solo shot to right center for the 6-4 lead in the eighth.
- Alex Carballo tagged a solo home run to open the ninth before Terence Norman laced a single to left. Reitz locked in to secure the save.
