SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- North Florida freshman Christin Eisenbeiss concluded her historic appearance Sunday at the NCAA Championship carding a final round 76 over the par 72 layout of Grayhawk Golf Club.Â
Eisenbeiss, the first UNF women's golfer to qualify for and compete at the NCAA Championship as an individual, finished tied for 75th with a 54-hole total of 226 (75-75-76). She was just the fourth ASUN women's golfer to play as an individual at the NCAA Championship and her T75 showing was the second best in conference history.
The NCAA Championship format featured 54 holes of scheduled stroke play with the Top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team advancing to a final round of 18 holes to decide the individual National Championship as well as the eight teams qualifying for match play to determine the NCAA team title.

"Christin had a phenomenal year and represented UNF at the highest level with class, grace and commitment to success. I am so proud of her and the journey she has taken this spring. She played her heart out the past three days and never gave up. This is only the beginning of what she can accomplish. We expect great things from her in the future."
