JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In a game that didn't see any extra-base hits, UNF baseball (3-6) was clipped by Georgia Southern, 3-1, in a small-ball battle at Harmon Stadium Wednesday, March 3.

Behind the Line Score
- Georgia Southern (3-5) took a 1-0 lead in the first. Jayden Paden singled, stole second, moved up to third on a fly out and scored on a Austin Thompson sac fly.
- The Eagles used two walks, a stolen bag and RBI groundout to push another across in the fourth.
- UNF prevented a GSU run with a key play in the seventh. With runners at first and second, Jason Swan singled to center. Austin Bogart threw behind Christian Avant after he rounded second, getting him out before GSU's runner reached home.
- The Ospreys cut their deficit to 2-1 in the seventh. Trey Spratling-Williams singled, Blake Marabell walked and a passed ball moved them up. Bogart reached on an infield single poked to the right side, scoring Spratling-Williams. GSU was able to get two more outs to end the threat with the bags loaded.
- GSU added one more in the eighth, capitalizing on a fielding error.
- UNF loaded the bags again in the eighth, but GSU got an inning-ending groundout.
- The Ospreys stranded one in the ninth.
