Ospreys Plate Two Runs in Seventh to Go Ahead, Bullpen Seals Win Behind Chappell
TAMPA, Fla. - UNF baseball (6-11) made it three straight wins against USF (9-9) with a 3-2 road victory Tuesday, March 23 in Tampa. Southpaw Zach Chappell turned in a quality start, North Florida plated the tying and go-ahead run in the seventh and the bullpen only allowed one hit in three frames as UNF secured the win.
Eddie Miller, Stephen Halstead and Brandon Reitz all worked in relief behind Chappell's six sessions of work.

Behind the Line Score
- Both sides had opportunities early, but stranded runners kept it 0-0 through three frames.
- Austin Bogart clubbed a solo home run to just left of straight-away center field in the top of the fourth.
- A hit by pitch, double and a pair of sac flies put USF ahead, 2-1, after four.
- The Ospreys generated two runs in the seventh for the 3-2 lead that would stand the rest of the way. Abraham Sequera singled on a line drive off the pitcher, Grant Grodi was hit by a pitch and Alex Kachler walked. Trey Spratling-Williams was hit by a pitch before Blake Marabell scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly.
- USF worked consecutive walks to start the bottom of the seventh, but Eddie Miller fanned one and Stephen Halstead retired both batters he faced to evade the jam.
- The Osprey bullpen got out of the eighth with a key double play on a lineout as USF had a runner going.
- Brandon Reitz entered in the bottom of the ninth. He skimmed the helmet of Jake Sullivan to leadoff the inning before getting the next three batters.
