How it Happened
- The game was even through the top of four before FGCUÂ (scored three runs on three hits.
- In the fifth, North Florida tied the game thanks to Brittany Sundermeier's single to right field. She plated Rebecca Koskey who reached on a fielder's choice and Ashley Goebel who tallied a two-out double.
- From there the home team tacked on a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth to secure the win.Â
- Mesiemore sat the Ospreys down in order in the final inning as she got the win, giving up just three hits and a walk
Notes
- Clausen fanned eight batters in 5.2 innings and surrendered 11 hits and two walks.Â
- Paige Pfent was the other Osprey to record a hit.Â
