COURSE REPORT
The women's cross country team finished second in an eight-team field in the Women's Gold 6K. Freshman Mia McLain led the Ospreys with a 25th place finish.FINISH LINE
- Mia McLain finished 25th with a time of 22:47.8 in her first 6K with UNF
- Grace Gumpel completed the course in 22:59.8 with a 29th place finish
- Camryn Cooney ran a 23:10.8 and placed 31st

"The girls ran their first 6K and handled it well. The race was not the super competitive garnet field but it had some very strong individuals and we gained some valuable experience. Our plan is to keep working hard and making gains. Mia McLain did a nice job up front. I can tell she is getting faster and gaining confidence. Grace Gumpel and Camryn Cooney also had solid days and adapted well to 6K.
