COURSE REPORT
The women's cross country team finished second in an eight-team field in the Women's Gold 6K. Freshman Mia McLain led the Ospreys with a 25th place finish.FINISH LINE
- Mia McLain finished 25th with a time of 22:47.8 in her first 6K with UNF
- Grace Gumpel completed the course in 22:59.8 with a 29th place finish
- Camryn Cooney ran a 23:10.8 and placed 31st

"The girls ran their first 6K and handled it well. Â The race was not the super competitive garnet field but it had some very strong individuals and we gained some valuable experience. Â Our plan is to keep working hard and making gains. Â Mia McLain did a nice job up front. Â I can tell she is getting faster and gaining confidence. Â Grace Gumpel and Camryn Cooney also had solid days and adapted well to 6K.
