COURSE REPORT
Junior Lydia van Dijk led North Florida with a ninth place finish, moving up 12 spots in the ASUN Cross Country Championship. The Ospreys placed third in the seven team field.FINISH LINE
- Lydia van Dijk finished ninth, completing the course in 18:32.7
- Junior Grace Gumpel finished the top-15 with a 13th place finish (18:47.6)
- In her first conference meet with the Ospreys, Freshman Mia McLain earned a spot in the top-20, finishing 19th in 19:22.2
- Camryn Cooney finished the course in 19:23.7, placing 20th

"The women are so far ahead of where they were last year. Today's finish was a big step in the right direction for the program's future. Lydia was in the Netherlands until three weeks ago, so we've been cautious with her training. She's a really great competitor and very talented. She ran smart and executed her race plan. Grace only comes to practice once a week because of her nursing classes, so her performance today was a tribute to the work she does on her own time.
