
Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Inducted on Saturday Night

JACKSONVILLE – The North Florida Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2022 was inducted in a ceremony Saturday night at UNF Arena welcoming a class that featured honorees responsible for numerous championships during their careers.
The 2022 HOF class included Lorena Aviles (Women's Tennis), Donnie Dewees (Baseball), Alex Morrell (Men's Soccer), Kaylie Wallace (Softball), William Lee Moon, Sr. (Athletic Director) along with the Men's Basketball teams from 2014-15 and 2015-16. Each of the student-athlete inductees were part of an ASUN Championship in their respective sport during their careers while the basketball squads accounted for back-to-back regular season ASUN crowns and Moon oversaw UNF Athletics earning 46 conference titles under his leadership.
Richard Miller, the Voice of the Ospreys, served as the emcee of the event that included a cocktail hour, meal and welcome remarks by North Florida Director of Athletics, Nick Morrow.
