JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball announces its conference schedule for the 2022 season that starts at Harmon Stadium on Friday, March 18, against Liberty.
After the conference-opening series against Flames, UNF plays four of their next five conference series matchups on the road, with their lone home stand during that stint being played against Jacksonville.
The Ospreys will play 10 ASUN weekend series, playing five opponents twice in a three-game series, for a total of 30 conference games this season. They will then stay in Jacksonville for their final four conferences series games of the season, with UNF hosting three of those final four weekends.
On the Road
The Ospreys hit the road for back-to-back weekends with matchups against Kennesaw State from March 25-27, and Stetson from April 1-3. They are 6-2 in their last eight games against Kennesaw State and are 6-1 in their last seven games against Stetson.
River City Rumble
UNF returns home to play cross-town rival Jacksonville from April 8-10, at Harmon Stadium. They swept both series against the Dolphins last season and currently hold a seven-game win streak in the regular season against them dating back to the 2019 season.
The second of two-ASUN road stints this season will take place when they travel to Florida Gulf Coast from April 14-16, and then up to Liberty from April 22-24.Â
North Florida's only consecutive-ASUN series comes when Kennesaw State comes to town from April 29-May 1, and Stetson May 6-8. The Ospreys have never lost a home series to Kennesaw State and have taken every home series against Stetson since the 2014 season.
From May 13-15, UNF will play Jacksonville once again in a River City Rumble series. The home finale weekend will be against FGCU from May 19-21 and the Ospreys will then head into ASUN tournament play the following week in Fort Myers, Fla., from May 25-28.
