THIS DAY IN OSPREY HISTORY:
Eden Meyer became the first UNF Division I Track All-American after finishing 15th in the 10,000m at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Eugene, Ore. (Hayward Field)A native of Jacksonville, Meyer clocked a time of 33:54 en route to collecting her All-American second-team accolade as a junior. She was the first track athlete since UNF Hall of Famer Romy Krueger in 2004 (NCAA D2 - 1500m) to collect All-American recognition.
