
Women's Golf Announces Addition of Kaitlynn Washburn

JACKSONVILLE -- North Florida head women's golf coach Joanne Berglund announced the signing of Kaitlynn Washburn to a national letter-of-intent to play for the Ospreys.
A native of Scituate, Mass., Washburn spent the last year at IMG Academy following her prep career at Scituate High School.Â
"We are excited to welcome Kaitlynn to the Osprey Women's Golf family," said Berglund. "She took a gap year to grow and increase her knowledge of the game and her swing. She enjoyed a great junior golf career and brings a high level of competitiveness to our program. Her commitment to improving and developing her game have been evident through her time at IMG. We are looking forward to having her on campus and in our program. She possesses all the attributes we look for in our recruits from hardworking to committed to passionate and competitive on the course and in the classroom."Â
