TROY, Ala. - North Florida had a tough day on the clay as the Ospreys dropped both games, 3-0, to Western Kentucky and then Troy.

How it Happened:

The game was knotted until the WKU side of the inning in the fifth. The Hilltoppers capitalized on a bunt in front of home base to allow TJ Webster to score.
WKU tacked on two more runs in the sixth inning off a two-RBI double from Morgan McElroy.

How it Happened:

Trojan pitcher Leanna Johnson tossed a one-hitter, surrendering four walks with six strikeouts to lead the hosts to the 3-0 victory.
Troy put one up on the board in the second when an error on a hit to the short stop allowed a runner to score.
The hosts added to their lead in the fourth on an RBI double from Katie LIvely followed by a single to score Lively for the 3-0 advantage.
Taylor Engman broke the no hitter in the fourth inning with a single towards third base.
The Ospreys best chance came in the sixth when three walks loaded the bases, but a ground out ended the threat and kept UNF scoreless.

UP NEXT
North Florida comes back to the Sunshine State to take on No. 7 Florida Wednesday. The Gators opened up the season with a 4-1 record, falling only to No. 17/14 Michigan. The Ospreys then open the home slate Friday at 5 p.m.
