Game 1
Pitchers of Record:
- Win |Â Skyler Stockie (1-0)
- Loss | Alyssa Rothewell (1-3)
How it Happened:
- In the first, a single followed by two singles loaded the bases for Logan Jackson who singled up the middle to score two for the early lead.
- UNF followed up with a pair of runs in the second frame as well thanks to an RBI doubles from Taylor Engman and Kayla McGory.
- A walk with two outs in the third put Elaina Lukas aboard who then stole second. A single up the middle moved her over to third and a miscue by the Ball State catcher allowed her to score for the 5-0 lead.Â
- The Ospreys scored another two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Katelin Davis scored McGory who reached on a single. Davis then came around to score on a wild pitch in the dirt to make it 7-0.
- UNF could not get to the run-rule and the Cardinals got on the board with a two-run bomb in the seventh.Â
- Morgan Clausen came in to shut down Ball State and did just that with three straight outs.

- Loss | Hailey Raulerson (0-3)
How it Happened:
- Ball State picked up where it left off in the seventh of game one as a hard-hit single back towards the pitcher scored Amaia Daniel who led off with a double.
- The Cardinals scored the second run of the game of a hit to right center for a 2-0 lead.
- In the second, a double put a runner in scoring position before a triple brought the run in. The next batter then singled to bring in the second run for a 4-0 lead.
- Morgan Clausen was brought in relief and was able to sit down three in a row to end any more threat.
- The Ospreys got on the board in the fourth when McGory hit a sac fly to right field to score Lukas who reached on an error.
- Ball State tacked on three runs in the fifth to put the game out of reach and make it a split on the day.
