JACKSONVILLE - Head women's tennis coach Catherine Dunagan announces the 2021 North Florida women's tennis schedule set to open Jan. 22 at home vs. Flagler.
"I'm extremely excited to have our team back and get started," said head coach Dunagan. "We have some great opportunities against top programs in the country. We will have some early tests but we know it will prepare us for conference play and our year-end goals."
The Ospreys kick off the conference schedule hosting FGCU (March 19), before traveling to Stetson (March 20) and Kennesaw State (March 27). North Florida returns home for two days to host Stetson and Kennesaw State April 2 and 3. The squad closes out the regular season with an away match at FGCU (April 10).Â
The conference office split the member institutions into two divisions, North and South, to limit travel due to COVID restrictions. UNF was placed in the South division along with Kennesaw State, Stetson and FGCU.
The ASUN championship tournament was also changed with the quarterfinals taking place within the divisions. The Ospreys host the semifinals and finals of the 2021 ASUN Championship April 23-24.
The Ospreys return eight letter winners, losing only one from last year's squad. Freshmen Annabelle Davis and Isabel Oliveira join the squad this year along with junior transfer Catherine Gulihur from Oklahoma State.Â
