Anderson Bobo Honored With ASUN Winners for Life Laurel

Senior Serves as UNF’s Representative on Prestigious Team
ATLANTA - Senior men's cross country and men's track and field runner Anderson Bobo was tabbed by the league office as the latest UNF representative on the ASUN Conference Winners for Life list for the 2019-20 campaign.Â
The nine-member team was announced Tuesday and is made up of one student-athlete from each of the ASUN institutions. The award is given to a student-athlete that exhibits excellence on and off the field of competition.Â

A native of Orlando, Fla., Bobo rebounded from an ankle injury suffered as a junior before rebounding to put up an 8K personal record (25:33.53) in the 2019 ASUN Men's Cross Country Championships. Bobo notched another personal record in the ensuing race at the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships 10K race.
Bobo is a communications major that serves as a running camp counselor and mentor. He was also inducted into the National Communication Association Honor Society (Lambda Pi Eta).
UNF men's track and field gets their spring season going at the South Carolina Challenge January 31 in Columbia, S.C.
