Behind the Line Score
- Chris Berry and Jay Prather drew walks and David Maberry laced a two-RBI double down the right field line, putting UNF ahead, 2-0, after the top of the first.
- Tevin Symonette turned on a Nick Marchese delivery for a solo shot down the left field line in the second.
- UNF got one back to make it 3-1 after two. Tanner Clark lined a single to right center and Abraham Sequera beat out a push bunt. Berry coaxed his second walk of the game to load the bags for Wes Weeks. Weeks laced a one-hopper to Brian Moore at short, resulting in a run and a six-four-three double play.
- Symonette struck again in the third. Back-to-back two-out extra-base hits from Haddon Adams and Symonette cut the lead to 3-2 after three.
- Nick Marchese danced around a leadoff double from Chaz Bertolani in the fifth. After getting an out on a sac bunt, Marchese got a backwards "K" and a groundout.
- Despite brilliant glove work by Prather on a pair of plays in the sixth, two infield singles and a chopper through the right side by David Graves evened the game, 3-3. Tanner Murphy ended the frame with a nice sliding play in right center.
- The Ospreys opened up the game with four two-out runs in the seventh to go ahead, 7-3. North Florida worked around four different Lipscomb arms in the inning to put up a four spot. With the bases loaded Maberry took a 1-2 delivery down the right field line, driving in two. Murphy followed that up with a two-RBI single through the left side.
- Berry unloaded for a solo shot to right in the ninth, widening the lead to five.
- Lipscomb made it interesting in the ninth. After back-to-back singles, Marchese worked a double play. A walk, single and another free pass pushed the Ospreys to Eddie Miller in the pen. Miller got Cade Sorrells to pop up, working the one-out save.
