JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Ospreys make the short trip down to DeLand to conclude the regular season with a three-game set against the Stetson Hatters. With a win the Ospreys clinch a spot in the 2019 ASUN Championship.

The Ospreys are coming off a two-win weekend and a 3-1 week after downing FAMU last Tuesday and taking two of three from Kennesaw State this past weekend.
North Florida played its final home series of the 2019 season this past weekend. The Ospreys put up a 23-11 record in games played at Harmon Stadium. In 12 conference home games the Ospreys went 9-3.
UNF plays three more games against in-state foes this weekend. North Florida is 14-6 against schools from the state of Florida this season.
With one more win UNF baseball notches 200 wins against ASUN foes during regular season play for program history.

-Brad Deppermann notched strikeout 210 for his career, setting the UNF DI record.

May 7 at FAMU
-Tanner Murphy walked five times, setting a new program record for walks in a game. He also stole four bases in one game, setting the UNF DI single game record while tying the program record.

May 10 vs. Kennesaw State
-Brad Deppermann spun seven innings, becoming the UNF DI career innings pitched leader with 234.1 frames hurled.
-Tanner Murphy stole his 36th base, becoming the UNF DI career leader in steals.

North Florida has flourished at the friendly confines of Harmon Stadium this season. Osprey hitters have notched a .313 batting average, slugging 86 points higher in Jacksonville.
Stunningly, UNF pitchers have posted the same ERA at home and on the road. Osprey arms have registered a 3.71 ERA at home and in away games, with batters hitting .263 against UNF at home and .255 on the road.

Berry Good

Four-year mainstay Chris Berry is having the best year of his career at the plate. Berry has posted career highs in batting average (.311), runs (38), doubles (eight), homers (five), slugging (.461), on-base percentage (.451) and walks (40).
Berry is only three walks shy of setting the UNF DI record for walks in a single season. He's second in the ASUN in walks and 52nd in the nation in free passes. Berry has tallied 12 multi-walk games this season.

Stingy Staff
One of the reasons UNF has the second-best ERA in the conference is due to its ability to limit walks. The Ospreys have walked a conference-low 165 batters, striking out 381. UNF's 3.31 walks/allowed per nine innings is 30th best in Division I, while its 1.38 WHIP is 68th nationwide. North Florida's 3.87 ERA is 44th in the country.

Thievery
Outfielders Tanner Murphy and Wes Weeks have been big at the plate and on the bases. They are tied for the league lead with 17 stolen bases, going 17-for-22 in attempts. Both are in the top three in UNF's DI history in stolen bases. Weeks and Murphy are also tied for the team lead in home runs with six, driving in a combined 69 runs while doubling 20 times.
