Women's Tennis Heads to Kennesaw, Liberty

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis closes out the road portion of its ASUN schedule against Kennesaw State and Liberty on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.

The match is set for noon in Kennesaw and 11 a.m. at Liberty.

ABOUT YOUR OSPREYS

The Ospreys are currently on a nine-match win streak and are undefeated in ASUN action after pulling out an exciting 4-3 victory at NJIT on March 30.
Ana Paula Melilo is leading the team with 10 dual wins and is 3-0 in league play. She has won eight straight singles matches across the three and four spots.
Constanza Gorches clinched the match against NJIT to improve to 7-2 in dual matches and remain undefeated in ASUN play. She is currently 5-1 in the No. 5 spot.
In doubles play, UNF has eeked out the point against Stetson and NJIT in tight battles at the No. 2 spot thanks to Lucia Montano and Florencia Rossi who are 7-0 in that position.
Valentina Mariotto and Melilo have paired up for six straight victories in the No. 3 match and now own a 7-1 record.

Against Our Opponents

North Florida is 22-1 against Kennesaw State and have shutout the Owls in the last four meetings. The Owls lone win came during the Division II era.
This will be the first meeting between Liberty and UNF.

Aspen Jarrett leads is 2-1 in ASUN action and on a two-match win streak. She is 3-3 in the No. 6 spot.
In doubles play, Jessica Cantrell and Breanna Reilly have a 2-4 mark in No. 3 doubles. Reilly paired with Elle Baker earlier in the season to post a 2-0 mark in the same spot.
The Owls are coming off a 4-3 win against North Alabama on Saturday. Their other win of the season was 4-2 victory over Murray State.

Anna Dollar has won a team-best nine consecutive matches en route to a 10-2 dual mark including a 4-0 record in ASUN play.
Kalani Soli also owns 10 wins on the year in dual play and is undefeated in conference action. She is on an eight match win streak entering the weekend.
In No. 1 doubles, Lara Soares and Maria Medina have paired up for an 11-2 dual mark with a 4-0 record in league play. The pair is on a seven-game win streak.
Soli and Grace Hasiguci have won five straight at the No. 2 spot, while Dollar has paired up with Ashley Bongart at No. 3.
