LEADERBOARD: The No. 15 North Florida men's golf team closed out its regular season tournament slate with a third-place finish at the Shoal Creek Invitational on Tuesday. Freshman Cody Carroll playing as an individual earned a runner-up showing in medalist play.
FIRST TEE
- Freshman Cody Carroll carded rounds of even-par 72 and 4-under 68 en route to finishing at 5-under 211. Carroll finished second playing as an individual.
- Senior Philip Knowles opened the day with a morning session 3-under 69 before struggling in the afternoon with a round of 77. Knowles finished T9 with a total of 217
- Senior Jordan Batchelor had rounds of 75-70 on Tuesday to finish at 219 (T18)
- Seniors Travis Trace and Andrew Alligood earned T31 showings with tournament totals of 222 following rounds of 73-72 and 76-75, respectively
- Junior Michael Mattiace rounded out the Osprey lineup with rounds of 74-78 to finish at 227 (T52)
- North Florida carded a second round 291 before closing with a final round 294 for a 54-hole total of 876
