LEADERBOARD: Severe weather on Sunday night forced a delayed start for No. 15 North Florida men's golf at the Shoal Creek Invitational on Monday and that resulted in an unfinished opening round. With one hole remaining, UNF sits in fourth place with 36-plus holes scheduled for Tuesday.
FIRST TEE
- Senior Andrew Alligood ended the first round of play at Shoal Creek in a tie for 8th at 1-under 71
- Fellow senior Philip Knowles saw his round paused with one hole remaining and him posting a 1-under score
- Senior Jordan Batchelor posted a first round 74 for a T29, while junior Michael Mattiace finished day one T35 after a round of 75
- The Ospreys lineup was rounded out by senior Travis Trace with a 77 (T54)
- Playing as an individual, freshman Cody Carroll matched the squad's low score of the day, shooting a 1-under 71 to finish tied for 8th
