JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball recorded 11 hits en route to a 6-1 victory against Florida A&M on Wednesday evening at the UNF Softball Complex.

How it Happened:

UNF got on the board in the second frame thanks to a wild pitch.
Florida A&M tied the game in the next inning on an RBIsingle.
The bats broke open in the fourth inning with five hits, starting with Paige Pfent's rip up the middle.
Replaced on the bases by Cathy Vega, she moved on a wild pitch and then Megan Woodson's single. With two on and two-out, Tiffany Lower roped a triple to deep centerfield to score two.
WIth Lower in position, Makenzie Griffin then sent a single to short right center to bring in the run.
Navia Penrod walked to put two on before Dominica Cocuzza hit a deep shot to shortstop to bring in another run an make it 5-1.
The Ospreys added to their lead with a run in the fifth thanks to Woodson's second hit of the day to bring home Pfent.
With the exception of the run scored, just one other batter got past second base.
