Behind the Line Score
- UNF scored four quick runs in the bottom of the first. Wes Weeks reached on a bloop single into right and Jay Prather rolled a base hit through the right side. Tanner Murphy brought Weeks home with a blistering double into left. Tanner Clark and Chris Berry drew consecutive free passes, scoring Prather. After a Tanner May ground ball resulted in a force play at home, Alex Reynolds lifted a fly ball to center. Clark scored on the sac fly and Columbia's first baseman threw wide to third after receiving the cutoff throw, allowing Berry to score.
- The Lions (2-10) cut three runs into their deficit in the second. Liam McGill singled to center before back-to-back Lions flew out to Weeks in right. Joshua Solomon put down a bunt single and AJ DiFillipo walked. Ben Porter scored McGill with a single to right and Julian Bury followed that with an RBI single to left. Bury's hit bounced and glanced off Raff Libunao's glove in left, allowing another Lion to score.
- Libunao ignited a four-run second with a leadoff single. He was balked to second and took third on a Weeks groundout. Prather drove Libunao in on a single to right before taking third on a Tanner Clark single to left center. Berry got hit by a curveball and May delivered a three-run double into the left-field corner.
- Neither team scored for four and a half innings until the Ospreys put up three in the seventh. Libunao laced a single to right, Weeks singled to center and Prather worked a walk. Clark clubbed a two-RBI double into the corner in right before Berry scored Prather with a sacrifice fly to center.
- Solomon opened the eighth with a two bagger to left, scoring later on a Jack Chernow sacrifice fly.
- Marchese left after 5.1 innings of work, allowing only one earned run. The senior improved to 3-0 on the year.
- Will Ohme entered and got the final four outs.
