
Women’s Tennis Blanks Savannah State for Sixth Consecutive Win

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Â The UNF Women's tennis squad swept its sixth opponent on the year and extended its win streak to six, as the Ospreys took down Savannah State, 7-0.
Rafaela Gomez and Constanza Gorches won 6-0, while Lucia Montano and Florencia Rossi earned a 6-1 triumph. Valentina Mariotto and Ana Paula Melilo made it a doubles sweep, winning 6-1 at the three spot.
Gomez raced to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 2 position, downing Savannah State's Muskaan Ranjan. The rest of the Ospreys continued their success, winning in straight sets over the Tigers to propel North Florida to 4-0 all-time record vs Savannah State.
